ENJOY FREE ADMISSION TO THE MINT MUSEUM
Starting May 1, children in grades K-12 can enjoy free admission to both locations of the Mint Museum for an entire year with an adult admission. This opportunity was made possible through Mint Board of Trustees Member Charlotte Wickham, who partnered with Charlotte Ballet dancer Humberto Ramazzina to raise more than $425,000 during Charlotte Ballet’s 2024 Dancing with the Stars Gala. Visitors can look forward to a range of exhibitions throughout the year, including renowned artists like Shinichi Sawada, Robert Ebendorf, and Whitfield Lovell.
TAKE A MOMMY AND ME FLORAL CLASS
Celebrate Mother’s Day with a The Mommy and Me Floral Class at Babe Cave USA’s new location at 3021 Bank Street, Suite 100, in LoSo. Learn the art of floral arranging and create beautiful bouquets—and memories—with your little one. The class is Saturday, May 11 from 12 to 2 p.m., and tickets are available online. Email contact@babecaveclt.com for group pricing.
ATTEND A DOGGIE FASHION SHOW
Leash up your furry friends and head to Crown Station Pub on Saturday, May 25 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. for some paw-some style and wag-worthy elegance. Tranquility Sanctuary will host its Unleashed Elegance Doggie Fashion Show and celebrate its one-year anniversary with a silent auction and raffle with over $1500 worth of goodies up for grabs.
