WBTV to celebrate 75th anniversary with visits to local communities

Charlotte, N.C. – WBTV is gearing up for our 75th anniversary this summer, and we will be hitting the road for part of the celebration. Each Friday leading up to the big day – July 15 – WBTV will be out in the community, at many events the station has covered for decades.

Community Visits

Longtime anchor John Carter will be at the locations with content and live newscast hits. QC Life’s Kristen Miranda and Jorge Andres will also take part in some of the community visits.

• May 24: Concord (Speed Street/Speedway)
• May 31: Belmont (Friday Night Live)
