Exciting Night Ahead at T.H.E. Night Hits The Runway in Charlotte!
Charlotte is buzzing with excitement as the annual Trans Health is for Everyone (T.H.E.) fundraiser is set to take place on October 19 at the Diamonds Direct Luxury Lounge in Truist Field. This vibrant event promises a perfect blend of community connection, stunning drag performances, and lively dancing! It’s not just about having a good time; it’s also about shedding light on the importance of transgender health and empowering our local LGBTQA+ community.
Coming Together for a Cause
Since its inception in 2012 by Dr. Lisa Griffin, the Charlotte Transgender Healthcare Group (CTHG) has made it its mission to ensure that gender-diverse individuals receive the healthcare they need and deserve. The group began with a small team of dedicated professionals and has evolved into a collaborative force for positive change in transgender health.
This year’s event theme, “T.H.E. Night Hits The Runway,” is an exciting opportunity for the community to come together, celebrate diversity, and engage in dialogue about gender-affirming care. It is all about compassion meeting collaboration, showcasing how accessible, inclusive healthcare can truly transform lives.
Get Ready for an Unforgettable Evening!
The festivities kick off at 6 PM and run until 10 PM, a time frame that guarantees plenty of fun and entertainment. Attendees can look forward to delightful hors d’oeuvres, incredible dance performances, and local drag queens taking the stage to raise awareness for a vital cause.
This year, healthcare providers will step into the world of drag, partnering with renowned local drag performers. Each healthcare provider will join forces with a trans or non-binary drag star, creating an unforgettable mix of medicine and performance art. It’s all about learning and sharing experiences while showcasing the beautiful spectrum of gender identity.
