A Sweet New Beginning
For those who might not be familiar, SAS Cupcakes had to close its doors back in June, largely due to high rent and the increasing cost of goods. But don’t worry! Jeff’s Bagel Run is here to fill that gap with delicious New York-style bagels that will make your taste buds sing.
This delightful bagel shop comes from the minds of Jeff and Danielle Perera, a couple who originally hails from Florida. Their story began when they desired to bring a touch of their home city’s bagel magic down South to a place that, let’s face it, was sorely lacking. The Pereras say they “decided to take matters into their own hands” after finding it difficult to satisfy their cravings for authentic bagels.
From Kitchen to Business
The journey started during the pandemic, where they turned into the “bagel run” duo, personally delivering their amazing bagels to friends and family. Fast forward to 2021, and they opened their first brick-and-mortar location, and it’s been quite the adventure since then! Jeff’s Bagel Run has continued to expand, with several locations under its belt and a recent out-of-state venture in the Triangle Area.
But the growth doesn’t stop there! They have ambitious plans to open **five locations** right here in Charlotte. That means plenty of tasty bagels coming our way in the future!
