Charlotte, NC – There’s something big blooming in the Charlotte cannabis market. Apotheca Dispensary, the Cornelius-based cannabis retail chain, has opened its fifth location in Charlotte last Thursday. This marks the 37th store in just three states since the business launched five years ago in 2019.
The new location, which is already open for business at 3039 South Blvd., is part of Apotheca’s continued growth strategy, catering to a growing market with a focus on providing trusted cannabis products in a comfortable retail setting.
“We’ve been busy”, declared the owner and CEO of Apotheca, Lee VanTine II, during the official ribbon-cutting ceremony. “This is the 37th store in three states, with more than a dozen in this area alone. Being based in the Cornelius area makes this hometown ribbon cutting a special one,” he added.
Proving their commitment to their customer base, the ceremony was followed by an hour-long sale where all THCa flower and THCa disposables were priced at 50% off, as well as other hot deals thereby invigorating the customer experience.
Apotheca’s rapid expansion is indeed impressive, and VanTine attributes it to the unique atmosphere and cultural ethos that the company’s staff nurtures at all locations. According to him, the brand caters to an older, more mature clientele who seek a comfortable and friendly atmosphere to experiment and engage with cannabis products.
“The industry has stores full of stigma because they’re dark, dusty, not well-stocked or -staffed,” VanTine exclaimed. “Apotheca distinguishes itself as ‘the good one,’ especially appealing to older customers who want to feel at ease when trying something new.”
Apotheca’s endeavors aren’t just limited to storefront expansions. Earlier this year, the brand unveiled its first edibles kitchen in Waynesville, which also doubles as a retail location. This growing footprint reflects the extensive efforts Apotheca makes to establish strong brand recognition while expanding its customer base.
“Joining different chambers [of commerce] in three different states proves how much people admire our brand, even in diverse locations”, VanTine asserted. “And having several stores in different neighborhoods throughout one city anchors us as we grow”.
Similar to its sister locations, the new Apotheca store on South Boulevard intends to sell a wide variety of cannabis, kratom, and mushroom products. The company also offers online orders through its website, with free shipping available for orders over $49 and signature required for those over $300.
All products sold through Apotheca are lab-tested by independent third-party laboratories, ensuring quality and customer safety. All Apotheca branded merchandise carries a Certificate of Analysis, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to transparency and reliability.
The new Charlotte location is a testament to Apotheca’s ongoing commitment to expand within the state and nationwide, providing top-quality, trusted cannabis products to their ever-growing customer base.
