Charlotte, a bustling city known for its vibrant business scene, is set to welcome a new player in the legal world! The Midwest law firm, Bowman and Brooke, has made quite the move by securing a long-term office lease in the charming Elizabeth neighborhood. This strategic choice is part of their plan to strengthen their local operations and provide better service to clients right in the heart of the Queen City.
Braman and Brooke, which operates out of Minneapolis, has leased a considerable 7,526-square-foot office space at a trendy spot known as Elizabeth on Seventh. This mixed-use property is located at 1942 E. Seventh St, and boasts an impressive reputation. The firm previously launched its Charlotte operations last fall from a coworking space at Regus in The Towers at SouthPark, but as they continue to grow, it became clear that they needed a more permanent and representative office.
“They’ve been adding attorneys at a good clip,” remarked Kenny Smith from New South Properties, one of the brokers involved in this leasing deal. “They needed true brick and mortar.” This sentiment speaks volumes about how seriously Bowman and Brooke are taking their expansion into this competitive market.
When choosing the new location, the firm had specific criteria that needed to be met. Smith explained that the firm concentrated on midtown and nearby areas just outside of uptown Charlotte. Ultimately, they zeroed in on Elizabeth on Seventh because it offers the perfect blend of facilities and convenience for their employees. The attributes of the building align perfectly with the professional image that Bowman and Brooke aims to project.
“That corridor is just laden with walkable amenities within the building and as you cross the streets,” said Smith enthusiastically. “They can show up for work, get coffee, go to lunch, and if they had to do a work dinner, everything is self-contained.” This makes it ideal for busy professionals who appreciate having a variety of options just a short stroll away.
Elizabeth on Seventh is not just another office building; it’s a lively mixed-use development spanning an impressive 103,500 square feet. Opened in 2022, the property has attracted several notable tenants, including Novant Health’s First Charlotte Physicians, the architecture firm Hord Coplan Macht, as well as restaurants and lounges like Catalina Kitchen + Bar, Rosemont Market & Wine Bar, and the sweet treat haven, The Yard Milkshake Bar. It’s the kind of lively environment that fosters collaboration and creativity, which will undoubtedly benefit Bowman and Brooke as they establish themselves in Charlotte.
With the move scheduled for December, Bowman and Brooke is poised to make its mark in the area. As more companies recognize the advantages of such vibrant neighborhoods, the interest in Charlotte’s Elizabeth area is set to soar even higher. For Bowman and Brooke, this is more than just an office; it’s a significant step in their ongoing journey to become a household name in legal representation, especially within the automobile manufacturing sector.
As the firm gears up for its big move, it seems that Charlotte’s bustling environment will provide the ideal backdrop for them to expand their reach and continue delivering exceptional legal services. We’re excited to see how they’ll thrive in their new space!
