Music enthusiasts of Charlotte and Raleigh, brace yourselves. Houston rap legend Brad Jordan, idolized globally by his stage name ‘Scarface’, is geared to bring his ‘Brad Jordan: Behind The Desk Experience’ to your city. The tour, presented by The Black Promoters Collective, came into being post his viral Tiny Desk Concert in December of 2023. The concert was a career-spanning performance that captivated millions with his raw lyricism, storytelling prowess, and rich music catalog.
The ‘Brad Jordan: Behind The Desk Experience’ will make 25 tour stops, including two in North Carolina. Raleigh fans can mark April 13 on their calendars to tune in to this experience at the Lincoln Theatre. The subsequent day, April 14, he will grace the stage at Superstarz CLT in Charlotte.
From the Geto Boys to Solo Superstardom
Scarface, a stalwart of Southern hip-hop, ignited his career at the highly-regarded Houston label Rap-A-Lot. With his first major recording with the Geto Boys in 1989 for ‘Grip It! On That Other Level’, he cemented his place in the annals of hip-hop. His debut solo studio album, ‘Mr. Scarface Is Back’, was launched in 1991, after which he went on to release several critically acclaimed, platinum-selling classics including ‘The Diary’ (1994), ‘The Untouchable’ (1997), and ‘The Fix’ (2004).
