Overturned Car Near Shopping Center
A person was seriously injured in a car accident early Wednesday morning near a bustling shopping center in south Charlotte. The incident took place around 1 a.m. on Golf Links Drive, close to the Waverly shopping center.
According to reports, a white BMW was the only vehicle involved in the crash. The car appeared to have veered off the road before flipping onto its side. Damage to a nearby guardrail was also observed at the scene. It is still unclear what circumstances led to the accident.
The individual in the vehicle sustained life-threatening injuries and was promptly transported to the hospital by Medic for treatment. The identity of the injured person has not been disclosed at this time.
