CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Part of Sharon Road West in south Charlotte has been shut down after a car slammed into a utility pole, causing traffic disruptions in the area.
Duke Energy has reported that the road is closed between South Boulevard and Sharon Lakes Road. Crews are currently on the scene assessing the damage, and have stated that the road closure is expected to last until 9:30 p.m. Thursday.
At the time of reporting, paramedics have not been dispatched to the scene by Medic as there were no reported injuries or casualties resulting from the crash.
