Hey there, Charlotte! The spirit of community is shining bright in our lovely city as the Carolina Panthers and Charlotte FC have come together for a heartwarming initiative to provide help to those affected by the recent hurricane, Helene. It’s a reminder that in times of need, we’re all in this together.
On Monday, October 7, coaches and team members from both the Panthers and Charlotte FC, along with the David and Nicole Tepper Foundation, rolled up their sleeves for a significant cause. They gathered to pack a whopping 1,500 food boxes in collaboration with Second Harvest Food Bank. This effort shows just how much our beloved teams care about the people in the Carolinas.
The food boxes are set to make a real difference in the lives of many who are struggling right now. They will be distributed to local families who are facing tough times as they recover from the impacts of the hurricane.
It’s truly heartening to see how the community is coming together to support each other during these challenging times. Whether it’s through donations, volunteering, or simply spreading the word about these initiatives, every little bit helps! In fact, the Panthers took to their Instagram account to share some photos from the packing event. Fans couldn’t help but notice the team members sporting their stylish “Keep Pounding for the Carolinas” shirts. These shirts not only look good but also stand for something meaningful.
After seeing the Panthers’ post, many fans started asking if they could purchase those cool shirts to show their support. Well, we’ve got some exciting news! The Panthers confirmed through Tepper Sports & Entertainment that these shirts will soon be available for sale. And guess what? The proceeds from the sales will go directly to aid hurricane relief efforts!
If you’ve been wanting to sport some Panthers gear while also supporting a fantastic cause, you won’t want to miss out on this opportunity. The shirts are expected to go on sale later this week, and everyone is encouraged to keep an eye out for updates. Every shirt sold brings us one step closer to helping our neighbors recover from this community crisis.
But that’s not all, Charlotte is buzzing about another exciting event coming up – “Concert for Carolina”. This event features some amazing artists like Luke Combs and Eric Church joining forces to raise more funds for hurricane recovery. It’s events like these that show the power of music and community working hand in hand.
As the recovery efforts continue, let’s all do our part, whether that’s buying a shirt, attending benefit concerts, or just sharing the word. Let’s show the world that Charlotte stands strong together! So mark your calendars, check back for updates on those shirts, and let’s keep pounding for the Carolinas!
Thank you for taking the time to support our community. Every effort counts, and together we can help our friends and neighbors rebuild after Helene. Stay tuned for more updates, and remember that Charlotte is a place where kindness and compassion thrive!
