- Charlotte Ballet has secured $5 million for a vital expansion of its facilities along the North Tryon corridor. - North Carolina News Lab Fund will receive $2 million to launch Press Forward Charlotte, a dynamic initiative designed to rejuvenate local journalism. The program will collaborate with various local funders and community stakeholders to bolster the local news environment, enhancing information accessibility for residents.
- Finally, Historic West End Partners will be granted $1 million to foster the growth of small businesses aligned with the community’s needs. This aligns with their recent acquisition of the Beatties Ford shopping center, which aims to bring convenience and support local entrepreneurship.
