Charlotte’s Generous Hearts Shine Bright This Holiday Season!
As the city of Charlotte embraces the festive spirit, local residents have come together to support a charitable cause that has been around for over a century! The Empty Stocking Fund, an initiative sponsored since the 1920s, aims to ensure that families in need are not forgotten during this magical time of year. And thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, the fund is off to a great start this holiday season!
A Legacy of Giving
This fantastic campaign sends every single dollar raised directly to the Salvation Army’s Christmas Bureau, which in turn purchases toys, food, clothing, and even gift cards for families who could use a little extra help. Talk about a heartwarming mission!
It’s amazing how much people want to share their blessings, especially during the holidays. This year, the lovely contributions from various donors have started pouring in, showing that the spirit of giving is alive and well in Charlotte! So far, an inspiring total of $9,393 has been raised—what a fantastic way to kick off the season!
