Great Events This Weekend for Charlotte SHOUT!
Charlotte, N.C. – Get ready for a big weekend of Charlotte SHOUT!
Molly Kenny with Charlotte Center City Partners stopped by to preview some of the events happening this weekend. Ally is hosting a FREE silent disco on April 5th and 6th for all SHOUT! attendees. The disco will take place across from the Ally Main Stage, located in First Ward Park on Friday, April 5th from 5:30pm-8:30pm and Saturday, April 6th from 6:00pm-9:00pm. Entry will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
Sonic Butterfly at First Ward Park
Sonic Butterfly, a harp with 60-foot strings, stretches over crowds, immersing them in a musical tale about hope in a dystopian future. The vast two-octave harp creates rich longitudinal vibrations with ascending overtones that will transform First Ward Park into a stunning immersive musical instrument. Its two resonating chambers have butterfly-shaped projection-screen or LED wings, adding visual splendor to this extraordinary sonic experience.
Celebration of Sound and Community
Join us Saturday for electrifying music and an eclectic lineup of bands and artists. Get ready to dance the night away with pulsating beats and vibrant melodies in a celebration of sound and community. Don’t miss out on this unforgettable experience, featuring Gino Vannelli, where music and good vibes unite! Shows start at 2pm.
Don’t miss the fun, and bring your friends and family to Charlotte SHOUT!
