Meteorologist Jake Wimberley from the National Weather Service’s (NWS) Greer office mentioned that weather models are coming together to show a stronger possibility of rain for Charlotte towards the end of the workweek. The tropical disturbance has been given a 60% chance of developing into a tropical depression as it moves northward through the Gulf, and that likelihood has jumped to an even more promising 70% as of late Saturday evening. This means that by the end of the week, Charlotte might end up getting more moisture if this system teams up with a wet weather system coming from the Midwest!
