This new site is part of a broader strategy to increase the number of locations where they can serve their delicious offerings.

The city of Charlotte has already outlined plans for a construction project titled “Cook Out Albemarle Road.” The approved plans indicate that a new building, along with the necessary infrastructure, will be developed on this pad-ready site. Existing and New Locations
As of now, Cook Out operates an impressive 29 locations within the Charlotte market, with more on the way. One of the new restaurants is set to open at 1025 Frank Bailey Road, which was bought in 2023 for $1.25 million. This location will feature 1,000 square feet of heated space as indicated by a Mecklenburg County permit, with a total project cost estimates at $1.87 million.
In addition, another restaurant is in the works at 5161 Z-Max Blvd in nearby Harrisburg. This property was purchased in 2021 for $1 million and spans 2.38 acres.

The company has indicated that two more restaurants are marked as “coming soon.” One will be located at 1935 US Highway 70 SE in Hickory, while the other will find its home at 711 York Road in Kings Mountain. Tryon St. back in 2006 for $1.25 million, and plans are underway to make this new venture a reality. A recent city filing associated with Taco Roos was submitted on October 23 to address changes in the water meter size.
