The deceased has been identified as Zachary Thai Patterson, a resident of Rock Hill. Patterson was last seen alive on May 11 near Lesslie Highway. Sadly, his whereabouts remained a mystery until his body was discovered this Tuesday.
Originally handled by the local Rock Hill Police, the case was transferred to the York County Sheriff’s Office about six days following Patterson’s disappearance. The cause of Patterson’s death is currently under investigation.
