Charlotte, N.C. – Residents of Charlotte can now take advantage of self-service DMV kiosks at three new Harris Teeter grocery stores. This expansion enhances convenience for locals, allowing them to handle DMV transactions while grocery shopping.

These kiosks complement the existing kiosk located at the Harris Teeter in Riverbend Village (4701 Smith Farm Road), which has been operational since March.
The North Carolina DMV introduced these kiosks to alleviate long wait times in traditional office settings and provide added accessibility. Initially, users could only renew or duplicate driver’s licenses or ID cards, as well as register to vote.
