CHARLOTTE, N.C. (HERE News) – Firefighters from multiple departments battled a blaze at a north Charlotte home early Tuesday morning. The Charlotte Fire Department assisted the Long Creek and Cooks volunteer departments with the fire on Maggie Laney Drive, just off Capps Hill Mine Road, around 3 a.m.
Flames were seen coming from the home, and it appeared part of the roof may have collapsed. Medic said nobody was hurt in the blaze. Officials have not yet said what caused the fire.
The Charlotte Fire Department swiftly responded to the scene to assist the Long Creek and Cooks volunteer departments in extinguishing the flames. Multiple firefighters worked diligently to contain the fire and prevent further damage to the property.
