Isaiah Rashad, the Tennessee native and hip-hop artist, is set to celebrate the 10th anniversary of his debut EP, ‘Cilvia Demo,’ with a spring tour that will include stops in Charlotte and Raleigh. The tour will commemorate Rashad’s first critically acclaimed project and his debut under TDE (Top Dawg Entertainment), which was released in January of 2014.
‘Cilvia Demo’ featured collaborations with labelmates such as SZA, Schoolboy Q, and Jay Rock, as well as Chicago rapper/singer Jean Deaux. Rashad’s musical journey continued with the release of his debut studio album, ‘The Sun’s Tirade,’ in 2016, which reached No. 17 on the Billboard 200 chart.
Rashad’s upcoming tour will bring him to The Fillmore in Charlotte on May 28 and The Ritz in Raleigh on May 29. Fans can expect to hear tracks from ‘Cilvia Demo,’ as well as hits from his subsequent albums, including ‘The Sun’s Tirade’ and ‘The House Is Burning.’
Notably, Rashad’s most recent album, ‘The House Is Burning,’ featured the single “Headshots (4r da Locals),” for which the music video was directed by Raleigh, North Carolina native rapper and artist, Mez.
The Live Nation presale for Isaiah Rashad’s tour will begin on Thursday, April 18 at 10 a.m. with the code ‘RIFF.’ Tickets will be available to the public starting Friday, April 19 at 10 a.m.
