CHARLOTTE, N.C.

Medic: 1 hurt in shooting at southwest Charlotte motel

A juvenile allegedly shot a man accused of assaulting a pregnant woman at a southwest Charlotte motel on Wednesday night, according to Medic.

The shooting occurred at the InTown Suites on Pressley Road around 11:15 p.m. Authorities reported that a man entered a hotel room without permission and assaulted a pregnant woman. In response, a juvenile shot the man, causing serious injuries.

It has been confirmed by the police that the juvenile will not be facing charges in connection with the incident.
