CHARLOTTE, N.C. — In a heartbreaking turn of events, a shooting at the Woodland Hollow apartments left one person dead on Tuesday morning around 10:45 a.m. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police (CMPD) have confirmed that the incident took place near Arrowhead Drive close to Dove Tree Lane and North Tryon Street.
Authorities rushed to the scene after receiving reports of an assault with a deadly weapon. When CMPD officers arrived, they discovered a victim who had been shot in the parking lot in front of the complex. Sadly, the individual was pronounced dead at the scene.
