Exciting News for Reba McEntire Fans in Charlotte!

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Fans of country music legend Reba McEntire have something to celebrate! The beloved star is about to return to our screens with a brand-new sitcom on NBC titled Happy’s Place. It’s been a long wait since her previous show, Reba, ended in 2007, and the excitement is palpable.

What’s the Show About?

So, what can we expect from Happy’s Place? It’s a warm and witty comedy that dives deep into the theme of finding family in unexpected places. Reba takes on the role of Bobbie, a character who learns she has a half-sister named Isabella, who is portrayed by the talented Belissa Escobedo. The dynamic between these two characters is something that fans are already buzzing about!

Behind the Scenes Fun

During a chat we had with Reba and her co-star, it was impossible not to notice the instant connection they share. “We’re just tickled to death to be able to come in here every day what they call work,” Reba said with a bright smile. This camaraderie seems to be a staple on the set of the show, and it’s filled with lighthearted moments. “There’s something funny happening every minute, every episode,” she continued. “Whether it’s on camera or not, somebody going up on a line [and] the audience loves that. But there’s so much heart to this.”

A Joyful Work Environment

Reba expressed her thrill at stepping back into the sitcom world, highlighting the positive atmosphere. “Everybody, the only cast, the crew, the producers, showrunners, everybody involved in this show,” she said, praising her colleagues as “top-notch, fun to be around.” In fact, she noted that throughout the filming of seven episodes, there hasn’t been a single moment of frustration or anger on set. “I haven’t heard anybody get upset, raise their voice, and that’s such a great workplace to be at,” she explained.

A Heartfelt Message

While talking about the fun of making the show, Reba took a moment to extend her thoughts and prayers to those affected by Hurricane Helene in North Carolina. “Let us say all of our hearts, and thoughts and prayers are with you guys in North Carolina after the hurricane. Hope everybody’s doing fine,” she said sincerely. It’s truly lovely to see that she cares deeply about her fans and fellow residents.
