The team behind Folia isn’t new to the game; they’re the brains behind popular establishments such as The Goodyear House, Haymaker, and Old Town Kitchen and Cocktails. Their passion for hospitality has brought them to South End, a neighborhood they believe holds great promise for both locals and visitors. “We think this might be the hub of South End for generations to come,” Peters added with enthusiasm.

Chris Coleman, part of the Built on Hospitality group, expressed that they recognized a need for a more sophisticated option in the South End bar scene. “South End is a really cool area and there’s a lot of bars already there … and we’re trying to build something that’s a little more sophisticated,” he noted. This doesn’t mean it’s all about quiet nights out; Folia promises to be a place where adults can enjoy themselves without feeling like they’ve stepped back into their wild partying days.

“We did some sort of tropical … a little bit more summery drinks here at the tail end of summer, and then we will change things every season,” Peters revealed, hinting that there will be surprise changes in the drink menu just as flavor profiles shift with the seasons.
