Jasmine suggests the following breathing technique: Inhale through your nose for 2 seconds, and then exhale through your mouth for 4 to 5 seconds. This simple act helps activate the Vagus Nerve, a crucial part of our nervous system that controls many automatic functions in our bodies, like breathing and digestion. As you can guess, activating this nerve is essential for calming your body after stressful situations.
