Hey Charlotte! As we roll into the weekend, it looks like we’re in for a mainly dry and breezy couple of days. That’s right—if you’re planning to spend some time outdoors, you should be in luck! With just a few *possible stray showers* on the horizon, you might not even need that umbrella. So, let’s dive into what you can expect!
We start off Saturday evening with clear skies and a delightful breeze. An area of high pressure to our north is working to keep the rain away for most of the weekend. So, soak it in—Saturday night should be fantastic for any outdoor plans you may have!
Fast-forward to Sunday, and it’s shaping up to be another warm day. Expect highs reaching the low to mid-80s. Along with that warm sunshine, we can anticipate occasional wind gusts picking up to around 25 mph. It might be a good idea to hold onto your hat if you’re spending time outside! As the afternoon rolls in, don’t be surprised if a few stray showers pop up, but they shouldn’t be anything too heavy.
Now, as we move into Monday, make sure to have that umbrella within arm’s reach. While the heaviest rain will likely fall to the east of Charlotte, the approaching low-pressure system off the coast isn’t something to take lightly. As it tracks to the northwest, we can expect passing showers throughout the day. Highs will drop a bit, landing in the mid to upper 70s.
Looking at the rest of the week, things will start to heat up a tad. Starting on Tuesday, we might see some isolated showers again, but for the most part, expect partly cloudy skies. High temperatures should rise back into the lower 80s, making it a pleasant day overall.
Then, Wednesday and Thursday appear to be pretty picture-perfect! Expect mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies, allowing those temperatures to stay comfortably in the low to mid-80s. After having rainy days, it’s nice to see the sun making a return.
As we head into Friday, don’t forget to keep an eye out for a few isolated showers, but overall it’ll be similar to earlier in the week with highs in the lower 80s. And great news for the weekend at the end of that week! It looks like we are in for mostly sunny and dry conditions with temperatures hovering around the upper 70s and lower 80s. Perfect weather for outdoor family barbecues or park outings!
