Charlotte Welcomes Back Zepeddie’s Pizzeria with a Nostalgic Grand Reopening Celebration

Charlotte Gets a Slice of the ’90s with Zepeddie’s Pizzeria Reopening

Hey there, Charlotte! Get ready to take a delicious trip down memory lane, because Zepeddie’s Pizzeria is back and about to make many of you feel like kids again! This iconic pizzeria, which once served as the ultimate hangout spot for locals in the ’90s, is officially reopening its doors on Friday, November 1. It’s time to bring back the fun, the flavor, and all those sweet memories!

Grand Opening Festivities

The grand opening celebrations are sure to be a hit and will take place over the weekend of November 1-2. Mark your calendars because you won’t want to miss all the festivities they have lined up. Get ready for face painting, a dazzling balloon artist, and live music that will have you tapping your feet. And who can resist the excitement of a giant Stromboli eating contest? It kicks off on Saturday at 2:30 p.m., and the winner gets a Zepeddie’s gift card—so practice your eating skills!

But that’s not all! Guests can dive into some free cannolis and even make their own at the build-your-own cannoli bar. Gather your friends and enjoy customizing your dessert just the way you like it. Plus, there will be opportunities to enter to win more gift cards throughout the weekend. It sounds like a perfect plan for families and friends alike!

A Taste of Nostalgia

Brian Zepsa, the owner of Zepeddie’s, expressed his excitement about the reopening. He said, “We are thrilled to bring Zepeddie’s back to Charlotte and to share our passion for authentic NY-style pizza with the community once again.” It’s clear that Brian and the team have a deep love for this pizzeria and the memories it holds for so many.

Originally established by the Zepsa family in 1994, Zepeddie’s quickly became a staple in the community. After taking a break, the restaurant has now been given a fresh look thanks to Zepasa Construction. The renovated space spans a cozy 2,000 square feet and beautifully incorporates charming features such as refurbished WWII-era windows and the original Zepeddie’s sign that will greet guests as they arrive.

What’s Cooking at Zepeddie’s

Now, let’s talk about the food—you know that’s why we’re really here! Zepeddie’s will be serving up classic New York-style pizza (you can choose between thin crust or thick-crusted square pizzas) that will definitely hit the spot. In addition to pizza, food lovers can enjoy delectable calzones, hearty Stromboli, mouthwatering subs, and fresh salads.

So, whether you’re picking up a pizza for a cozy night in, grabbing some subs for lunch with friends, or just enjoying the buzz of the reopening weekend, Zepeddie’s is the place to be! The restaurant is located at 4516 Nations Crossing Road, Charlotte, NC 28217 and will be open daily, with operating hours from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays through Wednesdays, and 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Thursdays through Saturdays.

Join the Fun!

So whether you’re a long-time fan or a newcomer to the adventures of Zepeddie’s, the reopening is an excellent excuse to get together with friends and family. Bring your appetite and prepare for a hearty serving of nostalgia, laughter, and plenty of great pizza. The countdown is on—let’s mark our calendars for November 1 and get ready to indulge in some pizza magic!
